Common Applications  

This thickness is strong enough for many uses but lighter than 3/4 inch plywood.  

• Sheathing: Often used for wall and roof sheathing in residential construction, providing structural support against wind and seismic activity.  

• Subflooring: A common choice for subflooring over joists spaced 16 inches or narrower, serving as a solid foundation for finished flooring.  

• Cabinetry and Furniture: Ideal for cabinet sides, backs, and drawer sides, and suitable for shelves in smaller wall cabinets (under 24" wide).  

• General Utility: Versatile for building workbenches, shop jigs, and a variety of DIY and general utility projects
